ABOUT ME

timeline.png

For as long as I can remember, I've always been a problem solver.  I enjoy finding ways to make things work better and more efficiently.  At the same time, I'm also a lover of aesthetic beauty.  I find beauty in nature, art, and objects.

When I worked for the oil and gas industry as a mechanical engineer, I thrived on pushing technical boundaries and designing for smarter and more effective solutions.  Though my roles involved pushing technical boundaries, they did not provide me the aesthetic creative outlet I desired. With much trepidation, I quit my job and pursued a master's degree in Industrial Design Engineering in Europe.

I've never regretted my career realignment.  As a freelance product designer, I have the pleasure of leveraging my diverse strengths.  In my projects, I always approach the design with both an engineer's and artist's mindset.
