CROWNSTONE
Designed for Almende, this smart plug leveraged Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to create a mesh network capable of indoor localization and contextual awareness within the home. As part of a connected ecosystem, the device could identify user presence and movement patterns while transforming traditional appliances into intelligent, networked products.
Beyond enabling remote control and monitoring of connected devices, the system created opportunities for more responsive and personalized interactions within the home environment, extending functionality beyond a typical smart plug into a broader connected experience.
